Last night was another one of those go-to-bed-too-late, feel-tired-the-next-day days. I only got about 5 hours of sleep. I came home from work this afternoon, got in bed around 3:30, and slept until 5:20. I woulda slept longer if I hadn't set my phone alarm.
Anyway, I just ate some Dairy Queen and now I'm gonna watch another episode of Mayday!

Normally I don't like to post more than one picture of the same thing close together in my stream...I like to have my stream as diverse as possible...but sometimes I need to post different takes on the same thing.
This is my take of a Toney River classic. I've seen this point captured in several pictures, taken over the course of decades...and in May of 2009, I froze my own version in time.

This afternoon I decided I wanted to get some pictures of a freight train on the bridge over the 401...and instead of taking my car, I walked. It took me back to my university days, when I had to walk everywhere. Occasionally I'd borrow a car, but I largely took the bus and the heel-toe express.
Anyway, I walked about 4 kilometers round trip. I found a way to get up to the bridge, and I ended up taking pictures there for almost an hour. It was really windy and cold, and by the end of it, I could only move my fingers about half as fast as normal. But, I got a few good shots, so it's all worth it! And despite the cold, it felt good to take a journey on foot again! Afterwards, I went over to my mom's house, where I ate pizza, then watched an episode of Mayday! and three episodes of Dragon Ball Z Abridged with my brother. The abridged version is totally overdubbed and is pretty funny, for those of you who otherwise wouldn't dare watch Dragon Ball Z , hahaha. I'll be honest; I've seen probably 20 episodes of the regular one, but the Abridged version is definitely better :)

Man, today has been hella busy!
I got up around 9:45, got a shower, ate breakfast, and ran out the door for my 11:30 appointment...ten minutes after I planned on leaving.
I get on the 401 and it's smooth sailing until I hit the Don Valley Parking Lot. Normally in the middle of the day, I expect it to be flowing, but today it was backed way up. So I sit and ponder how late I'm going to be, and eventually I get there about 20 minutes late. Thankfully the person who I had the appointment with was later than me :)
Anyway, afterwards, I went downtown since I was basically 3/4 of the way there...I went to what I think was the Martin Goodman Trail and took some pictures.
Then I got into my car and drove back to pick up my sister at the train station and bring her to her hair appointment (she has her commencement tonight)...and I get stuck in traffic on the DVP again. So I'm all stressed out because I'm gonna be late and so she's gonna be late, and to top it off, my phone ran out of minutes...
I get to the train station on time, thankfully, but my mom has picked up my sister in her car...so...I head back to the apartment and chill for about an hour, and then order a pizza...on the way there, I get a call saying that I am invited to go to her commencement, but I only have about 40 minutes to pick up my pizza, eat it, and get to the school. Which brings us to now.
However, I don't mind the occasional hectic day...it's better than being bored!
