Looking across the narrows to Signal Hill. Last summer was the first time I remember going across to the far side of the harbor. Growing up, it was one of those off-limits places, because there was nothing over there. Turns out there are good opportunities for pictures!
We tried to climb to the top of the South Side Hills, but it was too far for the amount of water we were carrying, which was none.

One of my favorite scenes.
The sun porch along the front was a relatively new addition that I hadn't seen before that trip. The extension on the ground floor in the back was added in the early 2000s. The siding replaced logs or boards in the '90s, and it was painted green more recently. The cottage has changed a lot since I was young, but it still brings back the same feelings.

On the morning of Day 5, I had a feed of Nanny's french toast, which has always been one of my favorites. I posted this to Instagram just before I ate it, but I didn't post it to Flickr, so here it is!
