A couple more minutes down the flat, easy forest path and we crossed this river, looking upstream. This river appears to flow from Hardings Pond into Bonne Bay.

We picked up our bags shortly after getting off the plane (how convenient!), and then picked up our rental car; this Ford Fusion, which was a step up from what we paid for when we booked it. I also got my obligatory Lime Crush, and then we left to pick up a cooler Ally had ordered at Home Hardware.

For the record, this was not my first ferry ride -- I know that ferries jam cars and truck in pretty tight. But this one was jammed more tightly than usual. In any case, soon the Labrador saga would be over and we'd be on to the next stage of the journey -- driving across Newfoundland to get to Twillingate at a reasonable hour.
