The Best Gaff Ever!

This year, at the vendors area at Keystone, there was a booth selling body shapers from the famous Colombian brand “Meli Belt”. They came upon a suggestion made by my friend Karla Brown, who introduced me to the two beautiful and very kind Colombian ladies who were representing the brand; Maria, who is a reseller in the NY and NJ area and Diana, who is the creator of a line of products, called “Freedom”, designed exclusively for the special needs of the TG community.

Having worn all sorts of gaffs over the years, I was reluctant to buy one more. However, after hearing their explanation about how their products were conceived, inspecting their panty design and feeling the fabric, I thought I would give it a try. Maria took my measures and recommended the right size. As soon as I paid, I went to my room to try it on and was surprised at how easy it was to put on, while adjusting the amount of hold needed via bra-like hooks in the back of the garment. Once on, everything is held perfectly in place, and I felt a freedom and comfort that no other gaff had provided before. In all honesty, it felt as if I had nothing down there and sitting felt perfectly natural without anything getting in the way. I totally forgot I was wearing the panty! I started recommending it to friends and those who bought it agreed with my impressions, after wearing theirs. For the first time, after spending a week as Cristy, I have returned home to my male life without any damage to my penis, due to the way it is held by the gaff, and it is all due to Meli Belt’s tanga!

Diana explained to me the extensive research she and her team went through, while interviewing and measuring thousands of Trans girls in Colombia. In my opinion, their efforts paid off and even a crossdresser, like me, benefit from this amazing line of products. ¡El mejor “gaff” que existe!

Este año, en el área de ventas en Keystone, se presentó una marca de prendas para resaltar la figura femenina de la famosa marca colombiana, Meli Belt. Pusieron un stand aceptndo una sugerencia de mi amiga Karla Brown, quien me presentó a Diana y María, dos chicas colombianas que además de lindas, son muy amables. María tiene una tienda en el área de NY y NJ en las que vende la marca, y Diana, quien es la creadora de la línea “Freedom”, diseñada exclusivamente para las necesidades especiales de las chicas trans.

Ya que he tenido muchos ‘gaffs’ a través de los años, no me sentía motivada a comprar uno más. Sin embargo, luego de escuchar la explicación acerca de la concepción de los productos, inspeccionarlos cuidadosamente y palpar la tela con la que están fabricados, me decidí a comprar el “gaff”. María me tomó medidas para determinar el tamaño adecuado para mí. Tan pronto como pagué, subí a mi habitación para probarlo y quedé sorprendida por la fácil que fue ponérmelo, ajustando el soporte necesario a través de ganchos, tipo sostén, en la parte posterior de la prenda. Una vez puesto, todo quedó perfectamente acomodado en su sitio y sentí una comodidad y libertad que jamás había sentido con otro ‘gaff”. ¡Con toda honestidad puedo decir que es como que si no tuviera un bulto allí abajo! ¡Al sentarme, me sentí totalmente natural sin que nada presionara mis glúteos; se me olvidó por completo que llevaba algo puesto! De inmediato empecé a recomendarlo a mis amigas y quienes decidieron comprar uno, experimentaron la misma satisfacción al usar los suyos. ¡Por primera vez, después de pasar toda una semana como Cristy, he vuelto a casa sin daños en mi pene, causados por la manera en que el “gaff” lo esconde; todo gracias e la tanga de Meli Belt!

Diana me explicó la investigación exhaustiva que realizaron, en la que entrevistaron y tomaron medidas a miles de chicas trans en Colombia. En mi opinión, sus esfuerzos han sido fructíferos y hasta “crosdressers”, como yo, se benefician de esta increíble línea de productos. I did not know if I would be able to wear every dress I brought with me so I got my big camera with me so that I could take some self photography in my room. The tripod I have was too heavy so I would have to improvise, as I have done in other opportunities. I had brought a tiny tripod with me but I could not find a place to set it, where it would work. What did I do? Well, I set it on top of the one piece of luggage, but it was still too low. I looked around and there was the typical hotel room trashcan that, placed on its side, and on top of the luggage, did the trick.

I had ordered a medium sized tripod to be delivered at the hotel but it arrived until Thursday and I ended up not using it at all.

In conclusion, through the year I will be posting photos taken in my room during two sessions I had. I got to wear out most of the dresses, but one and another that I did not even wore for the room photos.

About 11 years ago, I received an email from a girl named Olivia Michaels; she was interested in becoming friends and, as I usually do, I replied and began corresponding with her. From what I gathered, she needed someone with whom to share her, somehow limited, crossdressing. She appeared shy and very interested in learning about me and how I approached this “art”. Over the years, Olivia continued to write regularly, and I would reply. Through this back and forth, we got to know a great deal about each other’s interests not only about our crossdressing but about life in general.


Most people get uncomfortable about strangers who ask personal questions, and I do too but, for some reason, I trusted Olivia and, despite not having met in person, we became good friends. She also showed interest in contacting some of my friends, and a few of them got to know her too. There was one issue with Olivia, though. She would fail to commit to meeting in person at all the events I invited her, starting with the 2018 VC Soiree in Washington DC, all the way to Keystone 2023. It turned out she had a fear of flying and one time deplaned and another did not board her flight to Harrisburg.

Being the relentless person, I have come to learn she is, she sought therapy and, finally, was able to make it to Keystone 2025, just when I was about to give up on her. After spending some time with her in person I was able to confirm that, as I suspected, she was a kind, noble and caring person who is willing to do anything for a friend. She might not be a beauty queen, but she is more genuine than any of us could ever be.

I am glad that Olivia finally overcame her fears and was able to live the Keystone experience on her own and not through other people’s stories. I am also glad that I did not give up on her while others, understandably, had. Thank you Olivia for your friendship, for spending time with me at Keystone, for being out there to meet others and for all the thoughtful presents and cards you brought for me. Each of them will always be a treasure!
