This is one of my favourite trees on the Midland Highway, Tasmania. I've photographed it several times in the last few years.
It fell over years ago (the first time I photographed it was 2014, so nearly 5 years ago at least), but it's still alive even though its roots are out of the soil.
So this tree is a survivor and has my respect. This is one of several trees that I will keep documenting until one of us is gone.

The rain-forest around Franklin River on Tasmania's west coast ... with a touch of ICM.

I always stop here on my way to the west coast - holds a special place for me. The first time was when I was 11 years old. On this trip I took my youngest son Ellis, who is 11, so it was quite magical.
