This was taken a while ago using seriously out of date black and white movie film converted to 35mm using an old Pentax Z-10 film SLR camera.
I like the old grain effect from this old film.

This photo was taken using expired film in an old Canon AE-1 Program camera. The camera in the frame is a vintage Soviet Zenit E and an Canon next to that (can't pick the model and it was too long ago to remember).

A small bowl of garlic taken with a vintage Canon AE-1 Program camera and 55mm f1.2 vintage lens using Kodak expired film (1984 Kodak Gold). The film was in the camera for more than 3 years and then it took me another year to get the film processed.

The original image was horribly under-exposed and the colours were seriously altered by time, so I processed in monochrome. It came out kind of dreamy, like maybe it was taken 100 years ago ...

This week has been challenging for me personally. One year ago today my mother passed away. It's hard to believe it's been a whole year - it's been such a blur.

She passed away a day after her 80th birthday, so I get this double whammy of remembering her on her birthday, the first birthday when she is no longer here, then the following day I get to remember the events that lead to her passing.

So rather than post an image from the difficult times that happened last year, I prefer to remember her today when she was younger and in good health. This was taken in 1989 in her and I in her front yard.
