Taken at a friend's farm at Campania, Tasmania. My son forgot his camera for this trip, so I lent him mine (note slight upgrade: EOS-1000D to EOS-5Dmk3!!). He happily photographed everything and got some awesome shots, while I was stuck with my iPhone and decided to run with a day of iPhoneography, which mostly fed my Instagram feed, but I really liked this shot, so here it is in Flickrland.

I did manage to get a few shots with my camera as well (when he was having a break!).

A flock of small birds flying over the mesh barrier above a cherry orchard at Campania, Tasmania. I was panning these birds at 300mm, not really expecting the image to turn out, but the texture of the mesh looks otherworldly.

My youngest son inside an orchard in Campania, Tasmania. The mesh is to keep out the birds and it made the sky look quite surreal, almost like the sky was painted on the underside of it.
