I had just been at a funeral of an old friend before this shot. I had to stop here for a moment before I drove home.

A flock of noisy cockatoos landed in my neighbour's tree as I walked out my back door. I ran back into the house and grabbed the nearest available camera, pointed at them, took a few shots and waited for the inevitable moment when they would all simultaneously take flight making the 'perfect' action photo ... so after a few minutes I put the camera down and looked away for a moment ... just as they all took off!!! Murphy's Law.
