First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWDU, this aircraft was delivered to GECAS and leased to Wizz Air Hungary as HA-LPZ.
It was stored at BUD in Oct-20 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and never returned to service. It was returned to the lessor as EI-GVA in Feb-21 and moved to Chateauroux, France for further storage.
The aircraft was leased to Avion Express Malta as 9H-AMU in Nov-21. It was stored at Vilnius, Lithuania on delivery and moved to Castellon de la Plana - Costa Azahar, Spain in Jan-22 for continued storage.
In late Mar-22 the aircraft was wet-leased to Eurowings for the summer season, returning to Avion Express Malta in Nov-22 when it was stored at Castellon de la Plana for the 2022/23 winter. The wet-lease to Eurowings was repeated between Mar / Oct-23. It was again stored at Castellon de la Plana in Nov-23.
On 01-Feb-24 it was wet-leased to Vietnam Airlines for one month before returning to Avion Express Malta and being wet-leased to Eurowings again for the summer season. It's expected to return to Avion Express Malta in early Nov-24. Updated 12-Oct-24.
