First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWIL, this aircraft was delivered to GECAS and leased to MyTravel Airways as G-YLBM in Mar-03. It was transferred to MyTravel Airways A/S (Denmark) as OY-VKS in Nov-04.

The MyTravel Group was merged into the Thomas Cook Group and MyTravel Airways A/S was renamed Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia in Apr-08. In Apr-15 the aircraft was transferred to Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium as OO-TCW.

Between May/Oct-17 the aircraft was sub-leased to Condor Flugdienst five times for a couple of weeks at a time. At the end of Oct-17, Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium was closed down and flights were transferred to Brussels Airlines.

The aircraft was transferred to Thomas Cook Airlines UK as G-TCAE and stored at Manchester. In Mar-18 it was transferred to a new company, Thomas Cook Airlines Balearics as EC-MTJ, based in Plama, Majorca, Spain.

It was sub-leased to Condor Flugdienst for the summer season between May/Nov-18 and then sub-leased to Thomas Cook Airlines UK for the 2018/19 winter season. The aircraft was sub-leased to Condor again in Mar-19 for the summer season.

However, the parent company, The Thomas Cook Group UK, ceased operations on 23-Sep-19. Thomas Cook Balearics officially closed on the same day. The aircraft was stored at Dusseldorf, Germany.

At one point it looked as though Condor would take over the lease and the registration D-ATCJ was reserved on 11-Oct-19. The lease transfer didn't happen and it was returned to the lessor as OE-IKR a few days later.

It remained at Dusseldorf until it was ferried to Kaunas, Lithuania in Nov-19 for further storage. The aircraft was ferried to Toulouse-Francazal in early Mar-20 for painting into Windrose Air livery prior to lease as UR-WRX. It returned to Kaunas in mid Mar-20 and returned to storage.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the lease to Windrose wasn't taken up and it remained stored at Kaunas. The aircraft was ferried to Miami, FL, USA in Nov-21 and leased to Global X (Global Crossing Airlines) as N278GX in Dec-21. Current, updated 19-Jan-24.
