First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWKO, this aircraft was delivered to Korean Airlines as HL7525 in Jun-98.
The aircraft was written off on landing at Cebu City, Philippines on 23-Oct-22 in bad weather. After two go-arounds, the aircraft overran the runway on landing, it crossed the runway end at about 80 knots and came to a stop about 360 meters/1200 feet past the end of the runway, close to the airport perimeter fence. No injuries are being reported, the aircraft broke through the localizer antenna and received substantial damage, including a collapsed nose gear, fractured the forward fuselage, damaged the nose underbelly and penetrated the flight deck. It had been in service with Korean for just over 24 years.
