The M-F Western Fuels Association coal train heads up the BNSF Lee Ranch Sub under symbol FESRLRM to load another 53 cars of coal for the Escalante Power Plant. Google maps is full of crap with the accuracy of backroads around here, you're best bet is to stay on Rte 509 for a short chase. Train departed the plant at 0730 on this fine sunny Tuesday morning. A nice suckerhole finds a BNSF work train sitting in the siding at Levy. The train was brought down a few days prior and the power is being held to bring back a couple cuts of hopper cars from Levy and Wagon Mound once they are loaded with the old ties from the tie replacement project. Aug 5, 2019
