2011 along the ex-IC&E lines were littered with leased SD40-2s in all kinds of various paints. I remember always getting pissed off when we would drive a few hundred miles only to catch a "grey ghost". On July 17th we got that shaft, but at least it was a train heading west out of Marquette in the afternoon. Now that I look back at the countless blue n' yellow shots I have, a grey leaser isnt so bad...

Its mayfly season along the Mississippi River Valley as ICE 6405 East is seen splitting the search lights as the west end of the swing bridge. These signals have since been replaced and of course the 6405 has been painted for RCP&E.
