After a weekend of events in the Chicagoland area, NKP 765 begins its trek home as it passes through Elmwood Park, IL on a beautiful Summer evening. The train is heading west for Franklin Park where it will get on the Indiana Harbor Belt to get back on the Norfolk Southern at Chicago Ridge so it can head back home to Fort Wayne, IN. A decent easterly breeze whips around the smoke of NKP 765 as it gets walked around the northwest connection track at Tower A5. The engine will make a reverse move out to Franklin Park for display at their Railroad Daze.
