After a good morning Raton Pass we decided to bail on the semaphores once again, this time in favor to a trio of Utah MKs on the Kyle's west end. We caught up with the train at Stratton just in time for them to start their switching... Finally after a couple hours, the painfully slow chase to Siebert was on. CORP 4074 is seen approaching the siding at Robertson splitting the old Rock Island search lights just east of the siding. The train will be put away here in the siding so the crew can cab to an eastbound that is tied down just a few miles down the line and will take that train back to Phillipsburg. Jul 14, 2017

After driving nearly 2000 miles across the country for Colorado, I got a tip about an eastbound KYLE train at Goodland with a ex-SP SD45T-2 trio, and well the drive was worth it despite the crappy weather.
