The westbound St. Maries River Railroad is seen exiting the tunnel at Benewah Lake shortly after sunrise. For a couple weeks in October the crew had an earlier start to give the MoW gang a proper work window. When I figured out a night shout would be possible, I didnt realize there was a tunnel because the shots of it are few and far between. After looking scrolling deep through Flickr I found a shot of the tunnel, BINGO, then drove the terrible road in the dark the next morning to get back here. Of course the train did not show up until 28 minutes after sunrise, but the cloudy morning kept it dark enough for the flashes to do their thing. Oct 14, 2021
