An early evening thunderstorm moves over Longmont Colorado. Oddly several planes were flying through the storm, resembling small meteor streaks here. This storm occurred a week before my previous lightning/ t-storm post.

Happy World Photography Day!

At the last minute I decided to go out and shoot in honor of the occasion. This morning I want out early...just missing the best light right before sunrise. This pier is only a few miles from home, so I rushed out and took a few snaps.

Closing out 2018 with this small collection of memorable shots throughout the year.

The wintry Dolomites provided plenty of drama and impressive peaks. I combined that trip with Venice during Carnival which is a must see.

Kauai didn't disappoint, both from the air, and down along the shore. Victoria Falls running across Zimbabwe and Zambia was certainly something to behold.

Miami was a brief, but fruitful visit, to include the wonderful Wynwood Art District. And my favorite experience of the year was a safari in South Africa that provided myriad up close and personal encounters with a diverse array of wildlife.

Thanks for all your likes and comments throughout the year. I've certainly enjoyed looking at your respective streams as well. Wishing everyone a happy and productive 2019.
