Fluidr / Kattenstoet 2024! by kirstiecat

After 22 hours of traveling, I made it to Ieper/Ypres, Belgium for Kattenstoet! This is a festival that typically happens every 3 years but, due to Covid, was postponed 3 years ago and hasn't happened in 6 years!! The festival drew more than 50,000 tourists, which is actually more inhabitants than the city. The parade was over 3 hours long and features so many great floats involving both cats and the history of the city. A surreal and magical weekend!
