Roger Waters brought his anti-fascist, anti-Zionist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, anti-militarist polemic to the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham last night and from the first note, it did not disappoint. A cracking set drawn from his career since 1973 (nothing earlier) and including blisteringly sharp observant versions of "Two Suns in the Sunset" and "Deja Vu" together with rants of old - "Sheep", "Money" "Us & Them" and "...Brick in the Wall" show he's just as angry with the capitalist military-industrial complex as he ever was, despite charging twenty quid for a programme (although it is rather lovely with matt laminate and spot UV varnish - so 1980s!).
Thanks to Ken Browne for use of his pictures from the posh seats on the floor and for driving!
