After a spell at Kirkby Hall, it moved to the National Agricultural Showground at Stoneleigh, where these pictures were taken. The day showcased plenty of variety from Romans, through the middle Ages to the English Civil War and the Boer War. Sadly financial constraints meant that this was the last such event to be run.
