This is the best place to watch all the gigantic Gray Whales migrating. We saw several pass by on this visit. It was pretty awesome to watch.

This shot was taken on a return trip from Point Reyes National Seashore last week on a winding portion of Highway 1 near Muir Woods. You can see the heavy rain all around it in this picture including a big drip of water below its claws. The bird had to be drenched at this time.
