Capture of the Milky Way there through the Owachomo Bridge with some added light from the crescent moon that was slowly setting in the western sky.
The slight warm light in the sky above the arch is smoke that was lit up by the moon from the fires near Cedar Breaks coming across to this area of Utah.
Captured with the Rokinon 14mm at f/2.8

Stitch of several images taken there at Owachomo Bridge to pick up the bridge and canyon under the crescent moonlight (shrouded by smoke in the air to the west) ... and wide enough to grab a view of the Milky Way here in the same view. You can also see that over the bridge there was quite a bit of that smoke coming across Utah from Cedar Breaks area forest fires.
It was quite incredible to be there under these lighting conditions to really take in the scene with the human eyes ... as well as with the camera sensor.

For the evening and into night that Mrs. Krach and I spent there at Owachomo Bridge, only one other photographer showed up. He was only there for several minutes, as he had earlier been hiking with the family trying to find some ruins down in the canyon. They headed off before sunset, and did not return until this time when it was pretty dark there with just the faint moonlight from the crescent moon.
I was setting my shot here when he stopped there under the arch of the bridge and was setting up a couple shots ... during my exposure here he was using some light there at his set-up to see what he was doing.
Made for an interesting moment here in the frame I was taking I think.

Met this couple from northern Utah ... had a great conversation with them there at sunset. Was able to snap a shot off with them there under the bridge helping to give scale.
Really liked the glow there on the underside of the bridge too at this time.
