Wamboin, NSW, Australia.

This series taken at our dam. Swallows feed on the wing - this fledgling was being actively fed by mum and dad. Junior would see one coming, start flapping the wings then open mouth (I start clicking), parent would swoop past, hovering momentarily to drop the insect down junior's gob, then zoom away. All done in about a second or so - a good target for burst photography (7 frames per second with this new Sony Alpha a33 SLT camera - the mirror is translucent and doesn't flip up, making it quieter and quicker).
