It was exciting to find this little juvenile Jacky Lizard in the garden (about 10 cm/4 in nose to tail) as they'd been absent for a number of years - obviously a couple of parents around that have escaped our attention (and that of the neighbouring cat!!).

One of the many large (and small) skinks in our native garden. This Shingle-back was out enjoying the near 100 deg F (38 deg C) temperatures this morning.

This quite large bluey was out sunning and just about to disappear under the deck (they're oof paper daisies in front, not something horrible stuck to my sensor or lens!).

I rescued this one from inside the house and returned him to the pond out the front - looked pretty relieved to me!
