Gundaroo, NSW, Australia.
This one of two species of Cisticola found in Australia, the other being the Zitting Cisticola Cisticola juncidis, but that one is only found in northern Australia and coastal Central Queensland. They're gorgeous little birds, and the male of this species obtains a beautiful golden head, neck and breast when in breeding plumage. My first decent photo of it - we found it when doing some Greening Australia surveys near Gundaroo.
