MISSION HILLS - At 3:48AM on February 27, 2025, LAFD Metro Fire Command received several calls from citizens reporting a single family dwelling with flames coming from the roof. First arriving companies found a home with its kitchen well-involved with fire. Light Force 87 initiated roof operations in order to ventilate heat and smoke for firefighters initiating interior attack. All flames were extinguished in 13 minutes, with no injuries.
