I visited a relative staying in the Camlin Hotel. This hotel was originally opened in 1926 as long term housing for elite residents. At 11 stories it towered above the city. Now, this lovely hotel is a dwarf among the enormous buildings in the city.

Plymouth Pillars Park contains four pillars from a Plymouth Congregational Church building built in 1912 and demolished in 1966. Another church building was constructed nearby. This church has been an active part of Seattle's history since it was founded in 1869.

When I drove past this house of on East John Street in Seattle, I knew I had to come back and photograph it. It's blinding pink color is irresistable. This neighborhood is very interesting for it's mix of beautiful well kept homes and dilapidated dwellings.
