My sister and I enjoy going to see the fireworks display at Lake Union in Seattle on the 4th of July. We take the students who happen to be staying with my sister with us. This time a Japanese student and two Chinese students went along. It is fun to experience this event with foreign born students. While fireworks displays in their home countries are reportedly more dramatic, the students say they have never seen such fireworks in person.

I found it interesting that most of the shots that turned out well enough to post from the July 4th Fireworks event at Lake Union in Seattle were predominantly pink in color. This could be due to white balance issues or some other factor or perhaps there was a lot a pink....in any case, hurray for pink fireworks!
