The Taylor River joins the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. At sunset, light reflects off Garfield Mountain.

Some of the trees along the trail had the look of ghouls with robes of moss and twisted limbs.

Happy Halloween!

This 135 foot waterfall is the main event of the six drops comprising Twin Falls. How this group of waterfalls got it's name remains a mystery to me.

This 65 footer is one of the upper falls in the Twin Falls complex of waterfalls. We hiked up a side trail and went out on a rocky point to catch this shot. There are more waterfalls up the canyon beyond our view. We hiked a short distance along the top of the canyon and could hear the water roaring but lacking rock climbing equipment and skills, we could not see the waterfalls.

This is the 30 foot middle section of Twin Falls. All of the falls comprising Twin Falls drop a total 800 feet in six drops according to the Northwest Waterfall Survey. It makes me curious how a waterfall with six drops can be named Twin. Whatever, it is a beautiful series of waterfalls. This shot was taken on the bridge over the Snoqualmie River.
