Fluidr / Cologne Cathedral by l4ts

Warm, evening light bathes the twin towers of the eastern facade Cologne Cathedral on a friday evening last summer. Construction of this magnificent example of Gothic architecture began in 1248 and, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, wasn't completed until 1880, 632 years after construction had begun!
