CHATSWORTH - The Los Angeles Fire Department responded by ground and air shortly after sunset on September 16, 2022 to assist two young adult male hikers stranded at dusk in the at-times hazardous and rocky terrain of Stoney Point Park in the 10800 block of North Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Chatsworth. The LAFD ground crews were able to skillfully rescue and escort the uninjured pair from the popular climbing site without a need for ropes or helicopter support.
