At 12:34PM on June 11, 2023 the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a patient in the LA River (no water present). Firefighters located a 26 year old female patient who fell approximately 25' and sustained a possible leg fracture. Firefighters used a litter basket operation to bring the patient back to street level for transport to the hospital in fair condition.
