The King’s Cave at Drumadoon on Arran in Scotland has been associated with Robert the Bruce's visit to the island in 1307 and with the mythical Irish hero Fionn (Fingal) and his warriors.
The cave has carvings dating from Early Medieval to modern times which include crosses, animals, serpents, cup and ring marks, a Norse interlace pattern and this human figure. At 0.6m tall, its forearms appear to be raised in the 'orans' or prayer position, or these might alternatively represent locks of hair.

Eleven years on (and now living in the area) the station at Stirling hadnt changed much. Double-headed 26 046 and 26026 arrive on 7/4/76.
Today the station retains much shown here but is rather spoilt by a modern-design huge pedestrian bridge beyond the normal overbridges in this shot.
