my Dad has been back in the hospital for over a week now, more complications from his Parksinson's disease -- and while looking for something this morning i came across these photos, sent to me a couple of yers ago by Doug Johnson that i'd always meant to scan -- so this morning seemed like the perfect time. hoping you are home again soon, Dad, and feeling a bit more comfortable again.
the occasion was the ground-breaking for a new lab building, and in the picture on the right, Dad is leaning against the doorway of the Barclay lab building, his main workspace for 20+ years was that window to his left -- but once the new building was completed, he moved his lab space into that, where it still is today. many thanks to Doug for sending me the originals!
