sailed in the Jazz Cup yesterday on Gordie Nash's Arcadia, a heavily modified Santana 27 -- he literally cut it in half to start his project, and has done some incredible work to it -- am happy to report that we won our division, and came in 14th overall (out of about 80 boats) in the race from treasure island up to benecia.
i've also just downloaded a trial version of Lightroom, which created this odd cyanotype-ish image -- if anyone has any tips or suggestions toward learning/using this program, please let me know!

more experimentation with Lightroom, trying to learn what it's capable of... can see that this program runs the risk of eating up all my spare time!
