no wind at the windward mark! and lots of ebb current, making it hard to get around -- the boat on the right, Desdemona, has just hit the mark, which is a no-no, and is now also running into the J/105 in front of them, all in sllllooowwwww motion...

yesterday was the first day i've been racing on the bay since late october, our last planned race was cancelled by the big oil spill -- SO GOOD to get out there again, and on such a perfect day!

you can see BYC's midwinter races happening in the distance behind us -- there were actually THREE races all happening in more or less the same poart of the bay, as Encinal YC had their Jack Frost series going on close to Treasure Island, too...
