argh, i just realized i've still got film lying around from July, when Eliza and baby Sadie and I helped to see off the California Condor,a brand new boat designed by Jim Antrim, to its start in the Pacific Cup race from SF to Hawaii -- apologies for the delay in posting!

as you can see, miss sadie is already a natural on boats, having done her first sail aboard miss mouette, MY sailboat, a few months earlier -- her dad Tommy was one of the Calif Condor's crew for this race. and notice she's already wearing her crew shirt (well, onesie), with its condor insignia -- kind of strange to see a picture of a massive scavenger on baby clothes, but hey!
