happy 40th anniversary of earth day!!
i'll be driving down to los angeles today, to attend the Annenberg Space for Photography's special slide show event, my set of thirty water photos will be in the mix with 19 other photographers... actually feeling a bit nervous!

i have passed this structure many times (it's a few minutes from campus), never knowing what it was built for but always wanting to take it's picture -- the PX film test finally felt like the right time to stop.
i think this is my personal favorite of my test films

hurrah!! today is the official launch of the brand-new sepia-esque polaroid film, called PX film, by The Impossible Project -- which i was lucky enough to test out last month.
congratulations, TIP, and thank you for making such an amazingly good film -- and for including me in the process! i was truly honored to have two of my test shots (including this one) chosen for exhibition at their press event today (in this photo, the print of this image is just behind the speaker's head!)
absolutely cannot wait to shoot more of this stuff!!
incidentally, they sent us two slightly-different formulations -- this (formula 43) was the more black-and-white of the two, and much more fragile -- i will post some samples of the more sepia version (formula 40) later today
