taken in my Dad's soon-to-be-ex lab, in Gilbert Hall at Stanford -- that poster is 3'x5', with *tiny* type, maybe 10 or 11 point font -- and the WHOLE thing is a diagram of the Krebs Cycle.

I can't tell you how much this thing intimidated me when i was in high school, trying to learn chemistry!

the realtors oiled the redwood throughout the house for showing it, and it makes the wood GLOW amazingly...

when we moved into the house in 1975 (as second owners), my dad's parents moved west from Washington DC and built an addition onto one end of the house -- this is one of the original windows at that end, and i always loved those deep sills, wanted to curl up on them with a book...
