Now that my days of wandering the streets of London have been curtailed by the ugliness that is covid-19 I have had to look for quieter destinations where the threat of the dreaded infection is minimised. And so it was that a friend of mine and I headed to a lovely piece of National Trust woodland earlier this week. It was muddy and wet but apart from the occasional dog walker we had the place more or less to ourselves. I wouldn't say it was particularly exhilarating for someone like myself who for the most part prefers photographing urban scenery to natural landscapes. But I came away with a half dozen photos that I was happy with (I know, what happened to the other 177 photos I took that day?!! 😂). Never mind, this is one I like.
