Spring is just about in the air here in the UK with the crocuses and snow drops showing themselves once again. This image is from late last spring on a day I was messing around with an old fixed aperture projector lens that was adapted to fit on my Sony A7ii. I think this was the first time I'd used it with an extension tube for flower photography and it proved to be quite good at it.
This was another shot that I entered into the "Creative" competition last week at my camera club. In fact the middle of the flower head hasn't been touched but the surrounding area has had a topaz filter lightly applied to it to give it a more painterly look.
