A few weeks ago I spent a morning photographing (and having breakfast) in the seaside town of Bexhill, on the Sussex coast. At a certain point this amazing cloud came rolling across the sky above the sea. I realise now that I probably took too many pictures of it, most of them not very interesting, but I liked this one which showed off the clouds but also had some interest with the railing and the groynes in the distance.
** For those interested in film **
This was shot on Kodak 800 colour film, a film that came from a Kodak disposable camera. I had about 10 rolls of this film stock and in fact I still have 3 or 4 rolls left. Because it's 800 ISO film and has been expired for 8 or 9 years it can get pretty grainy, something I personally quite like. It is colour film however it converts beautifully to B&W with plenty of tonal range.
