I didn't actually set out to photograph this couple. They walked into the frame just as I was shooting the arch. But having looked at it I've decided to keep it as the red coat is in such wonderful contrast with the drab colour of the building itself. Not sure if she was too impressed! :)

This wonderful spiral staircase, situated in a corner of the chapel at the Royal Navel College, isn't actually open to the public. To get the shot I had to lean over the railing with the camera facing up and quickly try to frame it in the viewfinder as there were other people waiting to have a look. I had to do a bit of work in LR to bring back some detail and managed to just about save it. I like the perspective.

The Trafalgar Tavern is a boozer that sits right on the Thames, next door to the Royal Naval College complex. This shot is of the back entrance with the stacks of the old Greenwich power station framed in the background.
