Another view of my favourite parking garage in the whole world and it happens to be in Croydon, only 5 miles down the road from me. How lucky am I.

The 43-story Strata SE1 building has been nicknamed the "Electric Razor" for its wedge shaped design and the 3 round circles at the top of it. At first glance they look like they are clocks but in fact they are wind turbines, although from all reports they are little used. But they make the building recognisable from any viewpoint. When you look at this image you may think that it is located just down at the end of this street. It is in fact around 2km away from where I was standing when I took this. I was standing near Bank Underground station, north of the river, while the building is located at Elephant & Castle, south of the river.

This rather confusing composition is actually the front entrance to a rather swanky apartment block located in the North Greenwich area of London. I know it doesn't look like the front of a building but trust me it is. I had another one of this building that I published a few months back that I called 'Competing Geometries' and actually the same title would fit here again. I'm a sucker for these kinds of abstract architectural detail images and I personally like this one a lot. However my instinct is there will be quite a few flickr-ites that will look at this and think - eh? 😂
