Shutelake is a Grade 2 listed building dating back to the late 17th century. Open today for the National Garden Scheme, it is situated in Butterleigh, mid Devon.
Staple Hall Inn, said to have been built in the 14th Century, was the original meeting place for the Blanket Weavers of Witney. The building is now mainly 17th century.
Another shot of the beautiful Grade I Listed Tudor Manor House in Ottery St Mary, dating from 1550, built on the site of an earlier house of which the great hall, dating from 1420 was retained. It has beautiful gardens and the north front was rebuilt in the Georgian style.
