When I first arrived at Twin Peaks the first thing I noticed was that the moon lined up directly over the incredibly massive Sutro Tower. I grabbed my tripod and blocked the parking lot to take this shot. It was only a half moon this night which looked to the naked eye as if there was a bowl sitting atop the towers at just a slight tilt. Of course to get the tower and moon together required a long exposure making it look as if it was a full moon. Probably a good thing it wasn't or the moon would have overpowered the shot. This tower rises above everything else in San Francisco and can be seen from 40 miles away atop Mt. Diablo. Often it is the only thing rising above the fog. One thing is for sure. All San Franciscan's get great TV reception.
