Image Description: |
Nestled deep in the redwood forest just over the coastal foothills of California's Pacific Coast is a small stream called Cataract Falls. A number of falls can be viewed from the hiking trail that winds down the steep canyon. Entering the canyon during spring it seems that everything is covered by delicate moss and ferns. Towering above the creek are assorted California Oak trees and towering redwoods. The creek cascades down the canyon creating continuous roar of water being pounded against rocks and fallen logs. |
