Just something that caught my eye as I walked around Ayr, Scotland, with my camera for the first time in a few years.

As waste bins they are an awful design. Built to withstand the onslaught of seagulls, you have to open them by hand and the handles are absolutely filthy. As an alien invasion, however, they make a striking trio.
