Breath is underrated. Since my 4th Takotsubo Syndrome Attack 9 days ago I am facing breathlessness with simple chores. Just walking up the stairs. Hanging out the washing. Doing the dishes. All require breath recovery time afterwards.
I have to remember that Takotsubo, while not a 'heart attack', is still an injury to the heart and that it can take a month or two for the heart muscle to recover.

I don't know if I have the luxury of time and rest right now.

I cannot begin to thank you all for the warmth and kindness expressed on my photo from yesterday. You brought me to tears.

I need much rest right now following my cardiac emergency. More than I remember from the previous times too. I want you all to know that I have fight in me. There are moments of absolute darkness but there are moments of hope too, however brief that they are. I have had some tough low points in my life but this is absolute rock bottom. All I have left is me. I have nothing more to lose but myself. Rebuilding from that with physical and mental health challenges on top will not be easy. Your kind words and thoughts offer some comfort for the monumental task ahead.

I just wish that street photography could pay the rent and bills.

The mountainous climb will begin but, for now, a little rest is needed.

It's been a week now since my whole world fell apart. While some of the emotional sting has diminished, a huge well of uncertainty and hopelessness has grown. I try to fight it but I am running on fumes and trying to fight off an infection that will be my ex-partners parting gift to me. Just what I needed.

Your kindness and support are as important as ever and I am more grateful than I can adequately express.
