A popular and loud street performance needed so much space, and created such a crowd, that there was a squeeze on each side of the street for people just making their way down Buchanan Street.
This shot marks 5000 photographs in my "Black and White Streets" album. As a lover of black and white photography and an street documentary photography, it is quite the milestone and is just the black and white ones!

Black and white re-edit of a 'stranger portrait' captured in March 2017. Akosua was number 49 in my 100 Strangers Project and keeping her earbuds in was a conscious choice as I wanted to photograph someone enjoying music on the street. This was captured in a previously posted portrait of Akosua with her eyes closed and head tilted back 'Lost in Music'.
